Christmas will come and go very soon, but you’ll still need winter crafts to do. Spend your next indoor afternoon making this winter paper icicle craft.
Winter in more northern areas brings snow that is beautiful to see, and fun to play in! Some winter days are just too cold to play outdoors, much to the dismay of our children.
Turn those frowns around with a fun winter craft that reminds them of being outside. They will enjoy the beauty of a cold, sparkling winter inside where it’s nice and warm.
This craft is a great spur-of-the-moment project for those cold days. It requires very few materials, which you probably have in your craft bin.
Construction paper, glue, glitter, and a paper plate is all you need to create these pretty icicles.
Since glitter is involved, you’ll want to put newspaper down to reduce the glitter spread.
Your older children will be able to complete this craft on their own. Little ones will need guidance with a few of the steps, such as cutting and folding.
When your ornaments are finished drying, hang them from the Christmas tree or mantle. You can also hang them in a window where the sun will make them sparkle.
