Unicorns and glitter are all the rage right now, and this craft is sure to bring gasps of excitement. It does require working in stages, so prepare your children before you get started.
The materials needed for this project are specific, but you may be able to improvise. For example, cones are needed, but making them is easy with a bit of card stock and glue.
You’ll need plastic ornaments, disposable cups, glitter, foam sheets, tacky glue, paint, and small strands of garland. Many of these items can be found at discount or dollar stores.
This project can get a bit messy, so be prepared to handle paint and glitter.
The instructions are easy and older children will be able to follow them without much help. With little ones, remember that their creations don’t have to be perfect, and you’ll love their unique ornaments.
