Summer learning is a great idea, especially for younger kids who need extra help. This ten-week summer learning pack will help keep your child’s math and writing skills sharp.
When summer comes around, everyone ditches their books. No one wants to read or practice skills they learned throughout the school year.
I remember being one of those kids. Summer was for all things fun and not for anything to do with learning.
Summer learning is actually good for kids. Reading and short assignments keep them right on track, and it takes less time to acclimate in the fall.
These summer learning packs are divided into three sections.
You’ll find pre-k and kindergarten, first and second grade, and third and fourth-grade packs.
Since these packs require only one page of work per day, your child might enjoy them. Try working through each sheet at breakfast, to discuss and brainstorm together.
Each level and pack includes a daily exercise in math and literacy. These tasks will help your child keep their skills sharp.
The exercises are arranged by groups to be helpful to children at any level of ability.
