Alphabet learning activities make great practice for kids learning their letters. Your child will love these summer letter matching puzzles to learn upper and lowercase letters.
Matching games and puzzles are ideal quiet time activities.
You can use them for rainy days, practice time, or to calm busy little ones. Giving kids something to focus on can help them relax in times of stress.
I’ve used learning games for younger children when the older ones play more complex games. Having something to work on alongside the older kids helped them not to feel excluded.
Your child will enjoy these cheerful sun-themed matching puzzles.
Print the puzzle pieces out on cardstock so they will be durable, and then separate them. You can laminate them for extra protection.
Separate the cards and mix them up. Your child can sort through the pile and match up the lowercase and uppercase letters.
For an extra challenge, turn them all upside down and play like the traditional Memory game.
Use these puzzles during lessons, game time, or quiet time. They travel easily, so take them on your next road trip.
