some interesting things about them with this spider life cycle activity.
Living in a warm, wet climate, we see dozens of varieties of spiders. Most are harmless, even if they bite; some have venomous bites that require medical attention.
One of the biggest, meanest-looking spiders we have in our area is the wolf spider. It is harmless unless provoked and quite shy, but it is hard to get past its scary appearance!
Believe it or not, spiders can actually be beneficial. They help control pesky insects that get inside our homes and into our gardens.
If you are working through a spider or insect unit study, this worksheet will be a nice addition.
You’ll find three pages to complete and one answer key.
Choose between the first two pages. One allows your child to write in their answers, the other has paste-on answer boxes.
The pictures can be pasted onto either page. They should coincide with the term for the correct stage of the life cycle.
