Skip counting is counting forward or backward by a number more than one. After learning basic counting, children learn to count by 2s, then 3s, and so on.
Skip counting is a lot like multiplication. Both concepts use counting by equal groups to reach a certain number or answer.
Learning to skip count can be tricky. Sometimes visual aids such as posters and charts can be helpful to students who are learning.
These skip counting charts include numbers two through twelve.
Each page features one two-dimensional digit. Inside the digit are the landing numbers for skip counting using that digit.
Display them on your wall or keep them in a binder to easily review them with your child.
Print all of the pages or just the ones you need. The pages print in black ink only, so your child can color and decorate them before displaying them.
