Any study about sea life should include sea turtles. They are one of the most popular sea creatures, and they are just so cute!
Sea turtles are very interesting to learn about, too. They have their own built-in navigation system that uses the Earth’s magnetic field!
Most sea turtles eat things like shrimp and jellyfish, but adult green sea turtles are vegetarians. They have special teeth to eat seagrass and algae.
This fun learning activity will help your child learn all about the sea turtle’s body.
The first page is a colorful poster showing a diagram of a sea turtle. The body parts are all labeled clearly so your child can locate them quickly.
The second page is a blank diagram. Your child can refer to the poster to fill in the blanks or try to do it from memory.
The last page is a cut-and-paste activity. Have your child carefully cut out the words and glue them to the appropriate space.
