Hands-on activities are great for developing fine motor skills. Use these printable preschool lacing cards to engage your child and work on those skills.
Little ones are constantly growing and changing. They get stronger and more coordinated each day.
Conquering buttonholes and threading beads require fine motor skills. These are things kids will gradually learn to do.
My son took fine motor skills to another level. He loved to use string and rope to tie things together and even block doorways.
It’s funny the things kids will figure out on their own!
Your child will enjoy working with these space-themed lacing cards. They won’t even realize they are learning!
There are three lacing cards to print in this cute set, including the earth and the moon.
Print your lacing cards onto cardstock. You may also want to laminate them since they will be handled quite a bit by small hands.
Gather a few shoelaces. Use different colors for a bit of fun.
Invite your child to use a shoelace to “lace” the card. Show them how to pull the lace through the hole and gently tighten it.
