Children love to share all about their family’s pets. Use these preschool pet activity pages to combine teaching about different pets with skills practice.
Our family always had pets when I was growing up. They were the traditional dog, cat, and fish sort, and usually not at the same time.
When I became an adult, I enjoyed the freedom of choosing my own pets. I was an animal lover and had dogs, cats, a goat, a rabbit, birds, and several more!
My kids are animal lovers now, too. We enjoy visiting zoos, rescues, and even encountering animals in the wild!
Your children will enjoy learning about different pets with these skills review pages.
In this set, your child can practice matching skills, tracing, patterns, beginning sounds, and more.
The “About My Pets” page allows your child to share all about their pet. It will make a great memento to save for years to come.
If you wish, tie this activity into a unit study about animals.
If your family doesn’t have a pet, you can get creative. Incorporate creative writing with a prompt about an imaginary pet.
