If your little ones enjoy search games, they will love this preschool i-spy learning activity.
I-spy games are excellent for developing problem-solving and calculative skills. Children learn to pay attention to details and control their focus to search their pages.
Playing I-spy looked a little different when some of us were younger.
We played by having one player choose, say, a red item, then say, “I spy something red!”
Other players would look around the room trying to guess which red item the first player chose.
In the 1990s, the I-spy books from Scholastic came out and kids could play together or solo.
This fun I-spy activity would be great on its own or complement a study about fruit.
There are five different search pages for your child to complete. Each page features all different fruits.
Your child will search through each page, count each type of fruit, and tally the numbers. You will find labeled boxes at the bottom of the page to write the numbers in.
You and your little one can learn about all different types of fruit as you work through this activity.
