Calendars are important for learning about how we look at days, weeks, and months. This preschool calendar activity is a great resource for learning all about our calendar.
It’s hard for a child to grasp what a month or a week really looks like.
Counting down to birthdays and holidays can be difficult to keep track of without a calendar.
This calendar activity will be a fun learning experience for your children. It is quick and simple to put together.
To get started, you will print the pages you would like for your child to work on. You may wish to use cardstock or heavier paper for this activity.
Write the numbers for the days in the squares. You can have your child color the entire page first and then cut it out, or vice versa.
Try offering watercolors or markers for your child to color their months and days.
Have your child glue the base onto a piece of colored construction paper. Have fun with it and match up colors for the season.
Finish by gluing the month and days in the correct order.
