If your child enjoys playing detective, this preschool animal barn activity will get them thinking.
Kids love to play games that challenge them to solve a mystery. They look for clues and think very hard to come up with an answer.
Thinking games are great to play with kids because they make learning fun. If there’s one thing I know about my kids, it’s that they learn more when there’s fun involved.
This fun farm animal activity allows your child to be the detective. And who doesn’t love a game with adorable animal pictures to play with?
To get started, print out all of your pages. You may want to use cardstock for your animal cards for stability.
Fold your barn paper in half, and carefully cut along the lines to the fold. These strips create a screen that will hide your animal cards.
To play, slide an animal card behind the “barn door” and secure it with a clip.
One at a time, fold each strip back to reveal parts of the animal. Your child will use their thinking skills to guess what the animal is.
