There are days when trying to teach math concepts ends in tears and defeat. A couple of my children are stronger in other areas and get frustrated when math isn’t as easy.
Because of this, I got creative and looked at different options for practicing. The pressure was off and they enjoyed learning.
This cute piggy bank money activity is sure to engage your kids while they practice counting money.
To use your piggy bank game, print out all of the pages. Laminate them for durability if you wish.
Your child will choose a piggy bank from the page and add the coins together. Next, they will find that sum in the chart and mark it through.
A blank chart and empty piggy banks are included. You can fill in your own amounts and sums for your child to solve.
You will also find coin values and realistic coins for your child to practice counting.
