Do you have kids learning to use a camera? This photo scavenger hunt for kids will make a great practice activity for your beginners.
Learning to use a camera is really fun. It is gratifying to capture beautiful, unusual, or special things so we can appreciate them later.
Cameras don’t have to be expensive to produce great pictures. Learning a little about light and focus can go a long way.
Cameras can be used for fun, too! This scavenger hunt requires the use of a camera to capture the items on the list.
To start this activity, print out as many copies of the scavenger hunt as you need. Each child will need a camera of some sort to participate.
Try these camera options:
- Smart phone.
- Tablet/Kindle.
- Instant photo camera. (Polaroid, Fuji Instax)
- Small, inexpensive digital camera. (You might find one at a thrift store or discount store.)
You might be surprised at how excited your kids are to use a camera. This is a great opportunity to teach them to be cautious and treat certain items with care.
