Learning about ordinal numbers can be easy and fun. This ordinal number worksheets bundle is all you need for your child to practice.
Ordinal numbers might sound complicated, but the concept is simple. They are numbers that define a specific position in a sequence and they look like this:
1st or first
2nd or second
3rd or third
These numbers help us find things (the third drawer on the left!). They also help describe an item in a series (the second Madagascar movie is my favorite!).
We probably use ordinal numbers without really thinking about them.
These fun worksheets will help your child learn all about ordinal numbers.
There are several different exercises for your child to complete.
The first page gives exercises in choosing positions in a series.
On the second and third pages, your child will match the digit with the number word. The numbers range from one to twenty.
The remaining pages are variations of these exercises and include using digits and words.
If you wish, laminate these pages and store them in a binder. Save them for use with other children as well.
