Any good unit study needs a few activities just for fun. This marine animal i-spy activity mixes learning and fun for your students.
Ocean animals are interesting to study. We don’t see them in our everyday lives, so we are curious about them.
The oceans contain a huge variety of animals and fish. Some have shells, some have fins, some look like plants!
If you get the opportunity to visit an aquarium, you’ll see things only found on the ocean floor.
This set of marine animal i-spy pages will engage your child. The images are bright and colorful, making them perfect for summer learning.
To do this activity, print your i-spy pages. Use cardstock so they hold up better.
Invite your child to choose a page, and an animal on the page to count.
Each page has a count section for your child to fill in as they count each type of animal.
Continue counting until every space is filled in.
These pages are great for traveling, quiet time, or adding to math lessons.
Place them in plastic sleeves and into a binder. Your child can use a dry-erase marker to mark the pages.
