If your children are learning about bees, don’t miss these free honeybee activity pages for your lessons.
Practicing with addition is important in early learning. This making ten clip card activity will help your child improve their speed and efficiency with addition.
When concepts are presented in visual ways, they are often understood more easily. Using activities that help a child visualize amounts or methods can be very helpful.
If your child is a visual learner or needs a new way to practice adding, this activity is perfect. Especially for those little ones who love unicorns!
To start your clip card activity, print out all of the pages onto cardstock. Laminate them for durability, and then cut out the individual cards.
You’ll want to gather a couple of small clips and ten tiny manipulatives.
Have your child choose a card from the stack and count how many unicorns are in the 10-frame.
Invite your child to add the tiny manipulatives to the ten-frame. They will count out each one until they reach ten.
Once they reach ten, help them to identify how many manipulatives they placed. Prompt them to identify that number on the clip card and place a clip on it.
