Take a break from a busy homeschool day and gather your supplies to Make Your Own Pumpkin Volcano. This is a fun and frugal activity for kids of all ages.
Only a few supplies are required to do this fun and fizzy autumn activity, making it easy to prepare, and quick to clean up afterward.
For even faster cleanup, lay your pumpkin on a cookie sheet or on a couple of layers of newspaper.
To make your pumpkin volcano, simply cut the top, carve out the seeds, add the ingredients step by step, and watch the volcano “eruption.” Just wait for the giggles and shouts as the “lava” bubbles up and out.
This activity would make a great addition to your fall to-do list, and you will probably be asked to do it more than once, so keep the baking soda and vinegar handy.
