Do your kids have trouble making connections between subjects? Or maybe they have trouble remembering how to do a math problem when they get to science?
Helping children learn how to “organize” the information in their heads to make the connections will not only improve their memory but will also improve their learning! All About Learning Press shares some great ideas on how to help them make those connections.

Kids learn by making connections between things they know. It is what helps them remember. For instance, learning the color green. They might know that grass is green, so when they see a green balloon, they make the connection.
Sometimes we take for granted the information we know, so helping our kids make those connections as they learn is something we need to recognize. Sometimes it is easy to make those connections and other times it takes some work. Our job as parents (homeschooling or not) is to help them see and make those connections.
