This post is being featured in FHD’s current Homeschool Inspiration series. I’m highlighting great content that will encourage you as you gear up for next homeschool year. (I’ve been a little slow getting these post’s out as promised. We’ve had some wonderful, yet time-consuming, events at our house these last few weeks. I’ll be sharing more about those events soon! Thank you for being my friend anyway. 😉 )
My friend Sarah from Side Tracked Sarah shares 10 things she has learned about herself over the years as she has homeschooled her large family. Many of you may not have a large family that you’re homeschooling. When I started homeschooling I had two children and thought many one day we’d have four. Now, ten years later, we have six children ages 4 months to (almost) 13 years. The family and homeschool dynamics have certainly changed since those early days.
If you are currently homeschooling a large family you may glean some fresh ideas and additional perspective as Sarah shares insights as to how to get in exercise time with a large family, and how to feed all those people! Plus, it’s always nice to read that you’re not alone in the journey. Read more of Sarah’s tips in her post 10 Things I’ve Learned About Myself When Homeschooling a Large Family.
