Looks like an awesome curriculum! I’ve never heard of them before but will definitely check out their other items. Thanks for the giveaway!
We would love to win this! Looks like something my kids would really enjoy working on.
We use the Chronological Life Study Bible each day to bring His story to life. Nothing formal, just a desire to experience the Bible.
We read the Bible every morning and talk about all God’s wonderful creation through out the day, and incorporate creation into our science.
We are just starting a bible unit study for our four children that I homeschool. Always looking for new ideas and curriculum though.
We are currently working through Kay Arthur’s How to Study the Bible for Kids…as well as memorizing a verse each week from Proverbs.
We share stories and lessons from “Telliing God’s Story.” However, I find that our most valuable Bible teaching is the direct, everyday application of God’s word to our actions, words, and thoughts. i don’t really teach Bible as a separate subject but as a daily integration to our everyday living.
We read out of various Bible story books.
We use are working through the Bible study our church is doing, Immersed by Doug Munton http://www.amazon.com/Immersed-40-Days-Deeper-Faith/dp/193775698X
It’s been a great discussion starter and Truth teacher!
I read the Bible to them, ask several followup questions and do coloring pages or something. We’re also memorizing verses together as a family. I am trying to incorporate the “Long Story Short” devotional in there too but it may be too early?
LOVE LOVE LOVE a chance at this curriculum… Ive been looking at it but putting it off would love a chance to win and use this for my 4 children
We do a devotion from Adventures in Odyssey.
We do Bible verse copywork and read a Children’s Bible but I want to add more – this would be helpful!
We are reading through The Message Bible for kids with our kids and reading Voice of the Martyrs magazine articles with them.
We do daily devotionals
We have used the Nest Ent. Old and New Test. tapes. We are just starting using Kay Arthur’s kids Inductive Bible Studies.
Yes! Our day just isn’t the same without our bible lesson to start the day!
We read small portions of the Bible each school day.
Awesome giveaway 🙂 Thanks!
We are reading through the Bible and doing AWANA. This looks like a very fun curriculum. Thanks for the great giveaway.
We do daily bible, and this looks like it would be a nice addition!
We read a bible story every day. I use the “moral” to teach about character. I use it to practice writing. (writing sentences from the bible story) Use some of the words from the story to build vocabulary. My son is a reluctant reader but he loves to read out loud from the bible.
We read scripture each day, memorize scripture and have used a number of different Bible “curriculum” titles over the years. Studying God’s Word has been one of our favorites.
Currently we do a daily devotional. I’ve been through a couple of Bible curriculum but haven’t found anything I want to stick with. We’ll be trying Amanda Bennett’s Heroes of Christianity unit study next week.
We read bible stories & watch bible-based movies/videos.
I have been looking for something to get my little ones started with Bible study. This would be excellent!
We use a daily devotional in our homeschool and follow along with the church curriculum used on Wednesday evening bible studies. 😀
We have family worship time both in the morning and evening. We read devotionals and Bible study materials at that time. We also work on memorizing scripture, many times by composing our own scripture songs.
We use bible curriculum guides such as ABC Jesus loves me & RRSP by 1+1+1=1 & Betty Lukens felt board.
We’re using 10 minute daily devotionals for the whole family 🙂
We do daily devotion, Bible reading and prayer time and incorporate the Bible into art, music, reading, etc.
this sounds great!
We are just starting to teach about the Bible and God’s attributes. Right now we are using Because God Is Awesome by Brad and Kathy Bright.
That looks really cool
This is a great resource!
We have used many songs, stories, movies and memorization of verses to teach my 10 year old the Bible. We also have conversations about character and what the Bible teaches us about that.
We use AWANA and a curriculum called Studying God’s Word.
We use Jesus Calling Devotionals, Topical Bibles for looking up specific questions, memorization songs, multiple bible studies and talk about God’s word in everyday life.
Right night we are going through Long Story Short.
We have just started homeschooling this week. I just started with a verse in the bible to study this week. We are still growing and learning.
We do some bible stories during our reading classes!
my daughter would enjoy that!
We read the Bible together each morning and discuss what we’ve read. At bedtime, I am doing a study on Biblical Womanhood, using Prov 31 as a model with my older girls (I read a Bible story to my little one at bedtime).
I let my husband handle it mostly.
We do a devotional in the morning and often talk about the bible is our day to day life.
We are currently using an Apologia Biblical Worldview curriculum for all three of our children.
We use a book I found at Mardel to do Bible lessons! Right now we are learning about Joseph. We actually just started homeschooling 3 months ago so this would be AWESOME to win! 🙂
We use some great Bible study materials from Kevin Swanson (Generations with Vision) – currently going through Proverbs.
We use the Weaver curriculum, so our daily lessons are “woven” around the bible.
I read a chapter of my ESV Study Bible in the middle of our homeschooling day. I also read a few of the Study Bible notes for clarification and we discuss the chapter. I mix up the lessons with any free Bible lesson plans, free copy work. etc that I feel led to use that will go along with the chapter we read. My girls are both 6th grade level.
We are prepping to homeschool, and haven’t started any formalized studies yet.
We have morning devotions and the SOS Bible curriculum from Alpha Omega.
We use We Choose Virtues. We also do a study over proverbs in my oldest daughters curriculum. My preschooler also has a bible time with her curriculum.
I struggle with history, this would be great for us.
We are fortunate to have a Community Bible Study (CBS) in our area and we use their study as our Bible Curriculum.
We read the Bible together and work on verse memorization.
This would be wonderful.
Been looking at this for awhile, would love a chance to try it!
We read the bible and read books about the people that we read about. sometimes we watch dvds about the people of the bible.
Abeka flashacards.
We use a mix of Rod & Staff Bible stories and the Ambleside Online Bible reading schedule. I still haven’t found an ideal schedule for us…
I teach my sons about the Bible through children’s Bible books and biblical story books and then my husband and I try to apply it to normal day life. They also learn about it in Sunday School and Awanas and they love VBS in the summer. But they love the hero stories of the Bible; it would be cool to have them see it in a video! Thank you for all of your emails with your latest freebies for homeschool! It has really helped me and my family and I greatly appreciate it 🙂
We memorize large chunks of scripture (sometimes putting them to a song we write). We have discussions, do art projects and inductive studies related to the “chunk” we are memorizing at the time. We try to review daily, if not more.
We are using the Old Testament of the Bible as the spine for our History this year. My son and I are both learning as we supplement our reading of the Bible with other resources. We use “The Greenleaf Guide to Old Testament History” as a guide for our reading.
