Teach your kids to get into the habit of being thankful for everything around them. Practice gratitude by keeping a gratitude journal and writing down the things that you’re thankful for.
It’s good to give kids some quiet time and something to write about. Making them think about what they’re thankful for shows their gratitude.

Take a moment to think about all the things around you that you could be thankful for. Do you have a roof over your head and a bed to sleep on at night? How about a car that you drive in to go to school or work? Be thankful for the food that you eat that your body needs for energy.
There are so many things every day that we don’t think about and take for granted. Remember to practice gratitude this year, not just for Thanksgiving but all year long.
