My husband made me a desk last year with some leftover wood he had from his building material. I loved it. However, come this year and the table had gotten wobbly and super loose, which drove him crazy. Yesterday, he asked my son (10-years-old) to grab his toolbox so that they can tighten up my table. I had to take a picture.
It is such a gift to me that my son is learning how to use tools and fix little things in the home. I am proud and feel very appreciative that my husband is around to teach my son these things. That is why I enjoy the idea of this FREE tool-themed emergent reader to get boys and girls interested in tools at an early age.
