The th sound is one of the easiest sounds to teach because it is one of the most visual sounds we make with our mouth. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it can also be one of the most head-scratching sounds. It is one of the most common mispronounced sounds. TH happens to be a sound where we both use voice with it in some words (voiced) and do NOT use our voice within other words (unvoiced). Just think for a moment how confusing that could be.
