This resource has a turtle theme, so you will place turtles (with pictures inside of them) with the tank that has the match r-controlled vowel in it! There are 5 tanks and 2 turtle cards for each tank. It’s a great way to visualize words and practice how to say the r-controlled vowel. It can be a great addition to a literacy station or a daily morning activity.
