I found the coolest way to explain Dinosaurs to my kids when they were little. If you have dinosaur lovers at home, then they will enjoy these free printable dinosaur activities.
As Christians, our kids are bound to ask us the, “What about dinosaurs?” question. It shouldnʻt be a question that we dread answering or want to avoid.
If I could be totally honest, embarrassing as it may be for some, when I first started homeschooling I didnʻt know how to explain dinosaurs to my kids.
After some research, I found an acronym to help me in the most simple form from Kids Enjoy Jesus; D-I-N-O.
D stands for designed by God. This is supported by Nehemiah 9:6.
I stands for how dinosaurs and the rest of the world were impacted by sin, supported by Romans 1:21-22.
N stand for new home. Dinosaurs provide a way for us to talk about a new home for the future of creation (Revelation 21:3).
Anyways, you get it. If your kid slove dinosaurs then you donʻt want to stay away from teaching about them and with dinosaur themes just because you donʻt know how to address them.
Do your research, embrace them as God’s creation that once roamed the Earth. Teach with your kidʻs interested. These dinosaur activities are just how you can start that.
