Thanksgiving is a great holiday you can celebrate with your children. Whether you are teaching at home or in a standard classroom, this holiday can be festive and provide engaging ways to learn new skills and concepts. If you’re doing a letter of the week program or a theme of the week, I highly recommend taking a break from your regular schedule and planning out a fun Thanksgiving Week for children to enjoy. Visit your local library for Turkey themed books, read up on the history of this holiday and provide children with a basic understanding of why we celebrate.
Here is a Free Simple Thanksgiving Pack you can use with your children this month. It is filled with low prep math, art and science activities as well as some coloring pages and craft activities.
