Learning fractions can be hard, but games make learning fun. Play this free fractions bingo activity with your math students to help them improve their skills.
Fractions were so hard for me in third and fourth grade. Thankfully, I had a great teacher in fourth grade that practiced fractions with me a lot.
Grasping the concept of fractions is difficult for some students. Practice makes all the difference.
Help your math students learn all about fractions with this fun bingo game.
To get started, print out all of the calling cards and the number of bingo sheets you need. Cut out the calling cards and set them aside.
To fill out the game sheets you’ll need buttons, discs, or other small manipulatives. An alternative is to laminate your game sheets and use dry-erase markers.
Hand out the game sheets to each child.
Use the calling cards to call out the fraction on each one. You can also show the card to help younger students.
The winner is the first child to cover three squares in a row. The rows can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal.
