Fact families show the relationships between all numbers involved in the set. Learning this is such an important concept in the relationships between numbers which will help kids as they progress in math.
Here is a quick example:
The number set 6, 4, and 10 are related because you can add two of the numbers to get the last number. You can also switch the first two numbers and still get the same answer.
6 + 4 = 10
4 + 6 = 10
