Learning to write book reports can be confusing. These free book report pages offer a few simple ways to learn about writing reports.
Writing book reports when I was in elementary school gave me anxiety. I never knew where to start or how to finish, and I struggled to organize the facts.
Part of my problem was not having confidence in writing my own words.
Having a template to practice with would have eased the stress and helped build my confidence.
This set of book report pages will be helpful to your child as they begin to write book reports.
There are several pages in different styles your child can choose from.
All of the report pages ask for the book title, author, illustrator, and your child’s favorite part.
Most pages also include a section for main characters, character description, and setting.
There are spaces for drawing and for summarizing the plot. If your child’s book had a moral, they can add that as well.
Included in the last few pages are bookmarks for your child to cut out, color, and laminate.
