Is the subject of bees a topic you’ll be studying in your homeschool? Add this free beehive pinning game to your bee unit study activities.
As a kid, I was curious about bees but was stung when I was very small. I was scared of them.
When I studied bees in my science classes I realized how important they are to us.
I learned that stings are usually accidental or in self-defense. I couldn’t really blame the bee if he was defending himself!
This beehive game is a fun activity to play as you teach your child about bees.
The concept is the same as “Pin the Tail on the Donkey.”
Print out the beehive and the pages of little bees and laminate them. Cut out the bees and hang your beehive where children can easily reach it.
If your bees are laminated, use a dry-erase marker to write the children’s names on them.
To play, blindfold a player and point them in the direction of the beehive. They will try to attach their bee to the hive.
The bee placed closest to the center is the winner!
