I’m happy to say there were LOTS of great Bible based resources around the web this week! For starters, I found some great resources for Kindle that were either FREE or discounted. Here they are:
- Love in the House by Chris Jeub and Wendy Jeub
- A Simplified Harmony of the Gospels
- This Day in Christian History
- Devotions for a God Girl
- One in a Million: A Journey to Your Promise Land by Priscilla Shirer
- The ESV MacArthur Study Bible
- Principles for the Gathering of Believers Under the Headship Of Jesus Christ
- From the Library of A.W. Tozer
- Desires of My Heart: Meditations on Psalm 34:7
I also put together a list of Bible study and devotion books for Kindle.
I also found several FREE ebooks for families. From Disciple Like Jesus- An Introduction for Parents and Grandparents looks like a great resource on discipleship. There is also Outside the Zone– a free Bible study about being used by God outside your comfort zone. You can also get Systematic Theology for FREE from BiblicalTraining.org. Another resource that looks great for the “plugged in” society we live in- UnWired Mom by Sara Mae- FREE for subscribers.
Teaching character is such a part of our homeschool. Head over to Notebooking Pages for FREE Sowing Seeds of Character cards to print out.
Have a little one? I LOVE these FREE beautifully illustrated alphabet coloring pages. We made a book out of them this year for my preschooler.
Looking for Bible based geography resources? You can find all sorts of Bible maps for FREE at Christianity Oasis.
With 4th of July upon us, how about some fun patriotic resources? RachelWojo.com has FREE cards for those serving to preserve our freedom. Print them out for someone special.
Or, want to teach about Francis Scott Key? Here are some FREE printables from Mama’s Learning Corner.
Looking for GREAT literature? Lamplighter Publishing is having a summer reading sale! We adore their books-timeless classics that teach godly character.
Got tweens? There is a FREE Fruit of the Spirit Study that is especially for tweens from Special Needs Homeschool.
One of our very favorite resources this year was this DVD- Metamorphosis, from Answers in Genesis. It is mind blowing. You will never look at God’s creation of the butterfly the same again. It truly points to a Creator that is beyond magnificent, and it is on sale!
