Learning the alphabet is the first step to unlocking written language. These free alphabet coloring pages are a fun way for your child to practice their ABCs.
Teaching my kids the alphabet was always an exciting thing for me. I knew it wouldn’t be long before they were reading short words, sentences, and books!
It wasn’t always easy teaching them to read. There were some very difficult sessions with one child that left them and me near tears.
Finally, it clicked! What a relief!
Now, they are very good readers who (sometimes) enjoy reading. And it all started with learning the alphabet!
This set of ABC coloring pages includes the entire alphabet.
Each page features a single, large letter of the alphabet.
Inside the letter are several pictures. Your child will identify and color the pictures that begin with the letter on the page.
At the top of each page is a small section for tracing the featured letter.
These pages can be laminated so they can be reused, or used for multiple children. Use dry-erase markers and wipe them clean when your child is finished.
