Holidays, birthdays, and special events are great times for kids to practice showing gratitude for the time or gifts someone has shared with them. It is so easy for kids to receive and not learn to say thank you. However, we can encourage kids to make thank you notes with this FREE printable to start letting them understand the value in the gesture.
I know you see it too. We go through our days in the grocery store, on a line or at the park only to hear a child whine or throw a fit for not getting their way. It is quite disheartening and I feel for the parents so much. I know they did their best they knew how to love their child and raise them in the way they should go. There are some things we need to teach our kids and being thankful is one. We can take steps to help our children start showing gratitude and developing that characteristic in a fun way.
Thank you notes are a great way for us to help kids practice gratefulness. Thank you notes let kids sit and think about what they are thankful for. When giving the cards to people, they understand that giving can be a much better feeling than receiving.
