Many families enjoy the tradition of making new Christmas ornaments together. Whether it’s your tradition or not, you’ll love this cute elf Christmas ornament craft.
Hanging handmade Christmas ornaments can remind us of a special person or time. Ornaments made together with family can remind us of special moments together.
As Christmases come and go, those special ornaments become more sentimental. Ornaments made as a family or by our children become priceless.

Kids of all ages will love making their own elves and giving them a unique look. This craft is great for everyone, even moms and dads.
Making these elf ornaments is fairly frugal, and chances are you already have all the materials.
Any items you don’t have can be found inexpensively at discount stores.
You’ll need clothespins, paint, brushes, markers, felt, pipe cleaners, glue gun, and needle and thread. If you have small items like large buttons or bells, use them for your elves to “hold.”
Instead of thread for hanging, you can use twine, fishing line, or craft cording.
This craft requires the use of scissors and hot glue. Supervision and guidance will be needed for younger children.
