This would be such a blessing to my family. Earlier this year, due to my 8yo having attention problems in school, we decided to homeschool starting in the fall. I put aside the money for a new computer(we don’t have one) plus curriculum out of our income rebate. Then my husband had to have emergency back surgery. I’m thankful we had the money to cover bills before his short-term disability began, but I no longer have the money to purchase my supples. A very nice lady I met in a store one time is giving me curriculum. Praise God.
I know many of you homeschool without a curriculum or a home computer. This is my first time and I’m overwhelmed with all the info out there.

My mother had a great idea of using a kindle and the apps that help reading skills to help my child that is struggling with reading. and now everyone likes to “play” on it. I guess it would be selfish to say I’d squirrel it away in my PayPal account and use it buy new crafting supplies LOL – I guess I would use it to do fun stuff with the kids this summer (museums, bounce houses, zoos etc).
