If you have a preschooler, you don’t want to miss this free alphabet find and trace activity!
Learning the alphabet takes practice and games are a great way to do that.
Children enjoy learning through games and activities. These things help make teaching easier and more fun for us, too!
This find and trace activity will help your child with alphabet recognition in uppercase and lowercase form. It will also help them develop problem-solving skills as they follow the steps.
To use this activity, print out all of the pages onto paper or cardstock. It is recommended that you laminate the alphabet cards to make them durable.
One letter page is uppercase letters, the other is lowercase. Use one letter page at a time or both at once if your child is ready.
Once you have printed, cut out all of the alphabet cards and place them in a stack.
Invite your child to pick up one card and identify the letter. They will search the sheet to find the matching letter and trace it.
You can make this activity reusable by laminating the letter pages. Offer your child dry-erase markers to trace.
