Who doesn’t love penguins? I mean, they are truly adorable. Ever since the Penguin Movie, my kids really were interested in how they live and their environment.
Kids enjoy lessons where they can incorporate learning all about animals. If your young learners like penguins then they will enjoy practicing their alphabet with this ABC penguin matching free printable.
You can use this alphabet penguin matching game in several ways. There are penguin cards for both upper and lowercase letters. Also, there are cards with icebergs which inside have a picture. Your child will match the penguin letter(s) to the iceberg picture which has the same beginning sound! For example, U will go with the picture of the umbrella.
In addition to a basic matching activity where you match the lowercase letter to the uppercase letter, you can also just use the uppercase letters or use an alphabet tracing chart to match each letter to once your child has traced the letter.
You can also use the cards in other ways that you see fit. For example, you could put the cards in letter order for ABC order practice!
