A few years ago we realized that all the kids birthdays are approx 6 weeks apart (G-May, Z-June, J-Aug and N-Sept) from one or the other (yes, we’re a little slow, lol). I have a hard time doing anything “small.” Instead of having parties all Summer, we now have ONE HUGE BIRTHDAY BASH! We still do a little something of their choice on their day ( for Zion’s in June we had pizza and saw Toy Story 3 on “his day.”) But the BASH is an all out BLAST! We BBQ, and asked everyone to bring a dish to share. We also asked all our friends to bring loose change for the Pregnancy Center instead of gifts. We kicked it off around two and the last of our guest left around nine. It was a whole ‘lotta fun! Praise God, day after, the house was still clean and we had a bunch of left over’s. To recover from the fun we had movie therapy and did n-o-t-h-i-n-g!
