One of the things I miss most about Christmas is a tradition that we can no longer do living overseas. Every year my family visited this church’s reenactment tour of the Christmas story. The last year we were there, my friend’s daughter played Mary in the Nativity scene.
It was so emotional, as we knew it would be our last year experiencing such a great ministry. At the end of the tour, there was someone who would give visitors the gospel. I wonder how many people remember. I wonder how many people turned to Christ because of it. Even if only one person did, it was all worth it.
