I have a dear friend that loves flowers so much. She moved back to New Zealand but when she lived near me (on an island – long story) she enjoyed all the beautiful flowers here. I never really appreciated them much until she came.
We would leave the kids with the husbands and go driving around the island. She would make me stop by every flower bush. She would run out the car, nestle herself near the rose bush and take the most amazing selfies.
She would make me join her sometimes. I hated it, but she would make me. However, now that I look back it made for beautiful memories. Now every time I drive by beautiful flowers I think of her and it brings a smile to my face.
